About Red River Academy:

Our Academy is one of the most renowned and accredited boarding school. It is constructed especially for the therapeutic or troublesome children. To make significant changes in their lives, we have an environment which focuses on education and their positive growth toward a successful adulthood.

Red River Academy, as the name suggest, is located near Red River which weaves through Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. A little far from Houston and Dallas, the Academy is located in a rural environment well suited to remove the distractions and negative influences that keep many adolescents from putting their education and growth back on the right track. The school is located in the small farming community of Lecompte, Louisiana. The pleasant climate of the area gives students an opportunity to take advantage of many outdoor activities.

Red River Academy follows a progressive, competency-based curriculum which allows each student to excel, while ensuring the knowledge base necessary for student to develop and continue their education.

Teachers work with students to help education become meaningful and integral to your students life. Meanwhile, school support staff aids with the character development program and will coach your child about school standards, responsibilities, and positive citizenship. Students will have the opportunity to get involved with local service projects which help make the community an even better place to live.

The school's campus provides a safe, warm, and distraction-free environment for students. Red River Academy owns excellent technological as well as scholastic facilities. We have large recreational facilities like sports and recreational activities for students to exercise and play games. We also have well equipped library, to give student a variety of positive activities.

Parents and other members of the students' families are involved throughout the student’s placement. Parents can take advantage of personal and family-oriented workshops so that when the student returns home, the family feels united and included in the progress the student has made. Red River Academy understands the responsibility that parents entrust us with when a child is enrolled in our school.
